🎉 What a Playful Dive into Cultural Identity! 🎉

Our team has just wrapped up an incredible sold-out session on Singapore’s cultural identity at the Singapore Design Week, and it was as fun as it was thought-provoking! Using LEGO® Serious Play®, we turned blocks into bridges and built more than just models – we built connections. 🧩🤝

Here’s what attendees loved most:

🧱 The pure joy of play – because who doesn’t love a chance to get hands-on with LEGO?

🌍 Seeing stories come to life as everyone shared their unique backgrounds and perspectives.

🤩 Exploring ideas with new friends – sparking conversations with people they might never have met otherwise.

But it wasn’t all play – the takeaways were powerful too:

1. We learned that cultural identity isn’t static – it’s complicated, dynamic, and a blend of tradition and innovation. The question of how to balance preservation and adaptation was top of mind. 🧠💭

2. Singapore’s cultural identity is diverse, layered, and constantly evolving. There’s a strong desire for a more inclusive future, where everyone’s experiences and memories are celebrated. 💬

3. Attendees emphasized the importance of being open-minded and receptive to the blending and preserving cultures. It’s all about balancing the old and the new. 🌏

4. We also explored questions around innovation, adaptability, and inclusiveness — qualities that will shape Singapore’s future cultural landscape.

This session was a reminder that fun and insight go hand in hand – and that sometimes, the best way to tackle big questions is with a little (LEGO) play.
